SHS Film "REAL" Available on Amazon Prime

Did you miss seeing REAL at our local theater? No worries! REAL, the second original feature film produced entirely by Smyrna High School students at Rock School Studios, is now available to rent or own on Amazon Prime Video.

This milestone release makes REAL one of the few high school-produced feature films ever distributed on a major streaming platform, following in the footsteps of the program’s first feature, The Strings Attached. Its early arrival on Amazon Prime comes thanks to strong community interest and a successful theatrical premiere.

Created by a team of driven high school filmmakers, REAL overcame professional-level challenges during production — from multiple casting changes to over half a dozen locations and demanding production standards. The result is a visually striking, emotionally powerful film that explores themes of identity, fear, and hope.

"This achievement once again proves that students can create meaningful, cinematic stories when given the tools, support, and vision," said Kyle Dietz, producer and teacher of the TV & Film program.
