Meet Raven Barrientos

Raven brings creativity and leadership to her role as a Supply Chain Manager. She excels in problem-solving and teaching others how to navigate complex planning software systems.

Originally from upstate New York, she relocated to the Nashville area in 2002 to pursue a career in music. A graduate of Belmont University with a degree in commercial voice, her musical journey began at the age of 10 when she started playing the violin.

Raven fondly recalls her early visits to Smyrna during a sound installation at the then-new Kohl's on Industrial Boulevard, back when Sam Ridley Parkway was home to just a gas station and a Sonic. Witnessing the town's growth has been a rewarding experience.

Looking ahead, Raven is determined to complete several creative projects. She’s been working on writing songs for an album and developing a "sea-inspired" Oracle deck that combines her artwork with thoughtful messages. With her artistic vision and commitment to bringing ideas to life, Raven is a true example of Smyrna's vibrant, creative spirit.

WORKSHOP DREAM FOR SMYRNA: I would love to host a Relax & Craft Day. Too often I feel as adults and young adults, many people do not realize their creative potential out of fear and imposter syndrome. I am guilty of this!! If we can get back to seeing creativity through the eyes we had when we were children, we would realize the endless possibilities and joy. It's meant to be fun and purely expression. It's meant for everyone! I believe the same to be true of music and dance.
