Excitement Builds for Junior Theater Festival 2026

Big news! Carpe Artista’s Musical Theatre team is traveling to Atlanta this January for the 2026 Junior Theater Festival. For the past three months, our students have poured their hearts into preparing a 15-minute competition piece—and it shows. With 20 students representing 13 different Nashville-area schools, this group truly showcases the power of community, collaboration, and creativity. We’re incredibly proud of every one of them! This team utilizes student leaders in several areas. Leadership development in entertainment and the arts is one of Carpe Artista's primary focuses.

This will be the fifth year for Carpe Artista's Theater Group to send a team to this national theater event to participate. The 2025 travel team received an award for Excellence in Dance. Several of our student team also received individual awards for their performances including outstanding student choreographed show.
