Celebrating Carpe Artista: Smyrna’s Gem of Artistic Growth and Community

Last Updated 9/4/2025

In the heart of Smyrna, Tennessee, Carpe Artista shines as a beacon of creativity and connection. This nonprofit arts education organization brings vibrant opportunities for students of all ages to explore music, theater, and the visual arts, and Smyrna is so grateful.

Nurturing Young Artists with Music and More

This September, Carpe Artista is offering $15 trial lessons—an affordable way for students to begin their artistic journey. Whether it’s piano, violin, guitar, drums, ukulele, voice, visual arts, or musical theatre, there’s something for everyone. Guided by experienced professionals, Carpe Artista’s instructors provide a supportive, personalized environment where students not only build technical skills but also grow in confidence, creativity, discipline, and character.

Grounded in Core Values: Character, Calling, Craft & Community

Their mission and vision are rooted in four central values:

  • Character
  • Calling
  • Craft
  • Community

This framework ensures their approach goes beyond technique—fostering personal growth, helping students discover their passion, refining their artistic skills, and strengthening the bonds that build a thriving community.

Smyrna’s Appreciation
